My name is Jeff Johnson. I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist practicing in Austin, TX since 2003. Prior to that I studied sculpture and psychology at the State University of New York in Purchase, NY. Which turned out to be excellent training for what I do now. My Bodywork practice grew from a recognition that the intelligence I was using to create sculptures had a richer and more complete expression in the act of working with people and their bodies in healing relationships. I have been serving my clients in this capacity for 20yrs.

My practice is an integration of Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy and meditative inquiry into the nature of Compassion, Intimacy and Love. In the View section you will find a description of the way I view Bodywork in general and the orientation this creates for my Work. In the Method section you will find a description of the way I go about this work and the depth of the therapeutic relationship that is possible.
